- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 orange pekoe tea bags, labels removed
- 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
- 1 -- cinnamon stick, broken in half
- 1/4 teaspoon whole allspice
- 6 whole cloves
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cover and bring to a simmer.
- Lower heat so mixture barely simmers and cook 10 minutes. Strain into 4 mugs.
